CAMERON
KRIZMAN
ILLUSTRATIVE STORYTELLING
WITH A BACKGROUND IN GRAPHIC DESIGN
Cameron Krizman is a Cleveland based artist coming from a family line of creative individuals. From a young age she was surrounded with art and the tools and processes for making it, and with that as a support she took to it naturally. As time moved forward Cameron jumped from interest to interest, including figure-skating and horseback riding, but maintained a close relationship with art consistently, inspired by both her family and the adept artists on the internet. Cameron has an overactive, rich imagination, and art was the only thing that it could be channeled into, so with a strong support system, a set of distant, wishful goals, and the unwavering certainty of improving, Cameron set herself firmly on the path of an artist. It was the only path for her.
Cameron originally formally studied graphic design through a selective program offered to area high school students, completing a two year curriculum in the topic before deciding to pursue art school. After being accepted into the Cleveland Institute of art, Cameron began as a graphic design major, but quickly found a better fit in illustration. Since then, she has pushed herself to the limit paving a new artistic foundation and building a portfolio that reflects her ephemeral but unwavering nature. Today, Cameron is a flexible, motivated artist, whose desire to tell stories and craft excellence has only grown stronger.
Professionally, Cameron intends to pursue a career in concept design, working on building the stories that will entertain and inspire people the world over. However, with the art industry perpetually turbulent and fickle, her goals remain personal. She wants to create meaningful, sprawling stories that touch the lives of the people who experience them, to inspire and motivate younger generations of artists looking to surmount the mountain themselves, and to continue to set far-off goals and move steadily towards them. Cameron’s work is never done, and never will be, as long as art continues to be her life.
